Midnight pharmacy and 24 hour Pharmacy services in the UK


There are currently relatively few truely 24 hour pharmacy services in the UK, although an increasing number of chemists are opeing late. At Late Night Chemist we aim to provide details of all late opening chemist shop locations and their opening hours.

A recent trend has been for major chains, such as Boots to open until midnight and supermarkets such as Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury to extend the opening hours of thier in store pharmacies to midnight in their stores that are open twenty four hours.

Boots claims that they now have a midnight midnight pharmacy within a thirty mile drive of most of the UK population.

We are continuing to add details of this new breed of late night chemists. In the mean time most areas of the country still operate a rota of duty chemist shops, who open their pharmacy out of normal opening hours to allow prescription medicine (drugs prescribed by a doctor) to be dispensed and over the counter (OTC) remedies such as cold and flu medicines to be purchased.
